Rare FinD Foundation

Rare Find Foundation exists to support those affected and their families, supporting research and raising awareness of Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff Diseases. Rare Find Foundation is the first of its kind in Australia. It was created to ensure that every Australian diagnosed with Tay-Sachs or Sandhoff disease, and their family or carer, can receive much-needed support that is relevant to where they live. We will also support, to the full extent we are able, others with rare diseases for whom there is no support network.

CATS Foundation

The CATS Foundation’s objective is to make sure that no family affected by Tay-Sachs or Sandhoff disease feels isloated after a diagnosis. CATS Foundation provides a support network for families affected by Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease. The charity also supports research into finding a potential treatment for these diseases by working closely with the researchers and companies. We’re also committed to raising awareness of Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff to the wider national community.
